Events and errors

app.handle · app.resolve · exact host payloads

Route UI and host events through app.handle, correlate asynchronous capability completions in app.resolve, and recover without replacing valid state with malformed external data.

app.handle receives admitted UI actions and host events before the next render. Always match the action and the expected stable target before mutating state.

app.resolve completes Host, Server, and Media requests. Save the operation under the returned RequestId, remove it before applying the completion, and ignore unknown or stale IDs.

Timer expiry and ongoing media state are events, not resolve completions. Decode structured strings with their SDK decoder and preserve the last valid application state when decoding fails.

Never log secrets, tokens, personal data, complete storage snapshots, server payloads, or system Back intent details while diagnosing an error.
