Recipe: build a small Constellation Orbit

luastra/ui · semantic spatial navigation · about 25 minutes

Build two navigable constellation depths and a Focus Surface from semantic Luau nodes while the host owns geometry, list fallback, focus, and motion.

You will create a root constellation, enter a smaller Build constellation, open one leaf in a Focus Surface, and return through the same application state.

The Luau model declares identity, priority, relationships, depth, and selection. It never declares x/y coordinates, viewport breakpoints, animation frames, or a separate mobile tree.

Constellation Orbit is an information architecture, not a space-themed skin. Declare stable meaning and bounded state in Luau; let the host provide geometry, motion, focus, and the complete list fallback.
