← Beginner tutorial: build an accessible counter

6. Run and verify the interface

luastra/ui · app.render · app.handle · about 15 minutes
luastra run → READY URL

Keep the terminal open, visit the printed local URL, and exercise the actual browser host.

When to use it

Run only after check and test pass; the preview stays available while this command owns the terminal.

  • The URL may use a different free port; use the exact READY URL.
  • Keyboard focus should remain on the activated button while the status text changes.
  • Automated state tests and live host interaction are complementary evidence, not substitutes for each other.

Focused example

luastra run
# Open the READY URL printed by Luastra.
# Expect Count: 0 and a disabled Reset button.
# Press Add one: expect Count: 1 and an enabled Reset button.
# Press Reset: expect Count: 0 and Reset disabled again.
# Press Tab and Enter to repeat the flow without a mouse.
# Stop the preview with Ctrl+C.
