Release installation contract

0.5.0-alpha release boundary
download → verify → atomic install → doctor

The Node.js bootstrap detects the host, downloads only its archive over HTTPS, verifies the release manifest and archive ledger, then atomically installs the SDK under ~/.luastra/sdk/0.5.0-alpha.

When to use it

Use this when installing Luastra on a supported machine for the first time or when installing an explicitly selected release version.

  • Supported archives: macOS arm64/x64, Linux x64, and Windows x64.
  • A checksum, receipt, or installed-file mismatch fails closed.
  • The installer never edits shell profiles or the Windows registry.
