Web metadata

luastra.json · schema v2
web{}

Optional bounded metadata for an indexable production web shell.

When to use it

Read this page when you need to apply Web metadata, verify its exact contract, and adapt the example without bypassing validation or host boundaries.

  • The web build emits title, description, canonical, robots, Open Graph, and Twitter metadata.
  • index=true emits robots.txt and a one-location sitemap.xml; hash routes are not separate indexable documents.
  • The build escapes metadata and rejects credentials, query strings, fragments, and non-HTTPS canonical URLs.
  • All four fields are required when web is present. title accepts 1–160 nonblank characters; description 1–320; index is a JSON boolean.
  • Omitting web retains default shell metadata. index=false emits a disallowing robots.txt. Metadata does not generate static HTML for application routes or provide access control.
