Small glossary
admitted · bounded · capability · stable id
The reference uses these words to describe safety and portability boundaries, not extra syntax you must memorize.
When to use it
Use this whenever recurring Luastra terminology makes an otherwise simple instruction hard to follow.
- Admitted: declared and accepted by the manifest, SDK, runtime, or host contract.
- Bounded: checked against an explicit size, count, duration, or format limit.
- Capability: a host operation explicitly listed in luastra.json.
- Stable id: a unique lowercase path that identifies the same UI element across renders.
- Source alpha: usable for evaluation, with breaking changes and incomplete production packaging still possible.
