Which project-owned files use Apache-2.0 or 0BSD and which rights remain separate.
When to use it
Read this before redistributing Luastra, starter fragments, generated output, or a Luastra-built application.
- Project-owned platform code and technical documentation use Apache-2.0 unless a file says otherwise.
- Starter templates and scaffolding fragments use 0BSD so generated applications are not forced to be open source.
- User-authored applications and content remain owned by their respective rights holders.
- Send licensing questions to legal@luastra.dev; an email response changes no license unless it expressly says so in writing.
