Foreground browser success does not establish background audio, lock-screen controls, or interruption behavior everywhere.
When to use it
Read this before promising playback behavior for web, Tauri, Android, iOS, or a packaged release.
- Verify audible foreground playback separately in each supported browser and packaged host.
- Mobile background playback requires a native build, lifecycle configuration, and a physical-device check.
- Lock-screen metadata and hardware controls require explicit target evidence; source code alone is insufficient.
- Test calls, headphones, Bluetooth route changes, audio focus, screen lock, and application disposal where claimed.
- Avoid polling. Supported hosts own event cadence and should stay idle when playback and UI are idle.
